Recently, we’ve been doing a lot more printing with our expanded offering of FDM and large format additive manufacturing solutions. As a result, we’ve been running through filament at a much faster rate than average, which has left us with an overflow of packaging. For a lot of large format runs, we utilize larger spools in order to cut down on waste, but for some multi-color projects, smaller spools are still required.
We frequently order 1KG, 3KG, and 10KG spools of filament for various orders depending on size and complexity. This has left us with a plethora of various sized boxes, a lot of which are perfect shipping boxes for small / medium orders. We’ve been recycling them through traditional means so far, but recently, we’ve decided to put them back to good use. Starting January 1st 2025, you may find that your order arrives in a reused filament box! Most of our reused boxes come from Polymaker, but occasionally you may find a larger item in a PUSH Plastic box.
